I had not been to the dentist in over 4-years and had a toothache that had begun fragmenting. I called the office for an emergency appointment and they squeezed me in. I was very nervous, as I have had bad/painful experiences in the past. I explained my situation to Dr. Sloat, who was very gentle and patient, making sure I was fully numb before starting. She frequently asked how I was doing and was very understanding of my anxiety. Even with a HUGE cavity she is going to be able to save my tooth. The most important factor was the manner that she and the rest of the staff treated me. I'm glad to say that I have found a dentist that I will look forward to going to.

I have been going to Dr. Sloat for several years. She is always professional and very gentle, always asking if I am ok during my visit. She is very straight forward in her evaluations and follow up, and I don't ever feel like she is trying to upsell me on any services I don't need. I had a bad tooth emergency one time and called her, and she met me at her office off hours to take care of my problem. She always follows up after hours to see how I am doing. Great Doctor!
